Postdoctoral Fellow

Email: wangkaikai@@gdiist.cn

Personal information:

Dr. Wang got his bachelor's degree in 2017 from Jilin University and received his Ph.D. degree from ShanghaiTech University in 2022. In July 2022, he joined the lab of somatosensory Neural Networks (LSNN) of the Guangdong Institute of Intelligent Science and Technology (GDIIST), engaged in the research of somatosensory neural circuits.

Research interests:

His research interests mainly focused on the cellular, molecular, and circuit mechanism of neuropathic pain. He would explore the novel cellular and molecular mechanism of neuropathic pain, and study the projection and connection of different DRG neuron types in the spinal cord underlying neuropathic pain condition by using a combination of single-cell omics, behavioral analysis and virology.
