Dr. Wang obtained a bachelor’s degree from Henan University in 2014 and a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), in 2021. Her research findings have been published in journals such as Cell Research, Neuroscience Bulletin, and Journal of Neuroscience. Dr. Wang had led a Youth Fund project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and made significant contributions to major projects funded by the NSFC.
Research Focus:
During her Ph.D. studies, Dr. Wang primarily used single-cell sequencing to investigate gene expression changes and the regulatory mechanisms after peripheral nerve injury, aiming to identify drug targets for neuropathic pain. Her current research focuses on somatosensory diseases, exploring the mechanisms of neuropathic pain and chronic itch based on the big data analysis. She uses technologies including 10x Genomics single-cell sequencing, in vivo RNA interference, RNAscope in situ hybridization, and calcium imaging to discover new key targets.
