Personal Introduction:
Prof. Lan Bao, Distinguished Professor of Guangdong Institute of Intelligent Science and Technology, former principal investigator and doctoral supervisor of the Center for Excellence in Molecular Cell Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She was previously supported by the Outstanding Youth Foundation of National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2003 and the "100 Talents Program" of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. She is mainly engaged in the research of molecular and cellular mechanisms of nervous system regulation, and has published more than 80 papers in international academic journals. She is also the executive member of the council of the Chinese Neuroscience Society, the executive member of the council of the Chinese Society of Cell Biology, the vice chairman of the Shanghai Innovative Cell Biology Development Foundation, and the deputy director of the Woman Scientists Committee of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology.
