      Dan Larhammar,研究员,认知与衰老研究组。瑞典皇家科学院院士、欧洲科学院院士、国际科学理事会会士、乌普萨拉大学分子细胞生物学教授、瑞典皇家科学院院长(2018-2022)。他于1984年获得瑞典乌普萨拉大学医学科学博士学位,早期研究集中在对食欲调节有重要作用的神经肽Y(NPY)的功能。作为访问学者在加利福尼亚斯克里普斯研究所工作一年后,他专注于NPY受体的克隆和分子药理学研究,发现了多个NPY受体,阐明了其在脊椎动物中的进化过程及药理学特性。随后他的研究扩展到了脊椎动物眼睛的分子进化,特别是视网膜中杆状细胞和锥状细胞的起源,以及神经递质和激素及其受体的进化,还研究了与帕金森病相关的多巴胺受体。近年来,他致力于研究学习和长期记忆的分子机制,重点关注谷氨酸受体(AMPA和NMDA家族)及其相关的调节蛋白。

认知与衰老研究组

本研究组围绕学习和记忆的机制主要开展两方面的研究:一方面聚焦于研究谷氨酸受体在学习和记忆的过程中的功能以及其与各种调节蛋白质相互作用的复杂机制;另一方面开展对于糖胺聚糖如乙酰硫酸肝素和硫酸软骨素在学习和脑衰老过程中的研究。这些研究工作通过利用转基因斑马鱼、小鼠以及细胞模型来开展。

相关的研究方法包括利用单细胞RNA测序分析识别与长期记忆相关的细胞群体和基因,利用空间转录组学分析确定学习和记忆相关脑区表达的关键分子,利用野生型和转基因型斑马鱼进行学习和记忆的行为研究,还使用小鼠和斑马鱼模型研究阿尔茨海默病的发生机制。
