Wang Xi, Vice Governor of Guangdong Provincial Government, led a team to visit Guangdong Institute of Intelligence Science and Technology (GDIIST) on 4th December, 2021, with the aim to learn about its construction progress and development. He convened a symposium to hear the detailed work reports about GDIIST’s development direction, construction goals and the achievements from Zhang Xu, the President of GDIIST and an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Zheng Lirong and Qian Cheng, the Vice Presidents of GDIIST, also attended the meeting.

Members of the visiting team include Gong Guoping, Director General of Guangdong Science and Technology Department; Nie Xinping, Director of the Hengqin Office of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government and Deputy Director of the Executive Committee of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin; Zhang Ge, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
