Open Innovation Platform for Brain-inspired Computing Power

On June 13, 2023, the Ministry of Science and Technology issued a document (Guo Ke Ban Han Gao [2023] No. 244) to support the establishment of a NationaI Open Innovation Platform for Artificial Intelligence Computing Power. This initiative includes the Open Innovation Platform for Brain-inspired Computing Power developed by Guangdong Institute of Intelligence Science and Technology, officially integrating it into the national framework. This platform is recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology as the only national-level AI computing power platform specifically designated for brain-inspired intelligence.

The mission of the Open Innovation Platform for Brain-inspired Computing Power is to focus on key subfields of brain-inspired intelligence, leveraging the Academy's leading advantages and demonstration role in brain computing. The platform aims to effectively integrate various resources, including technological and industrial chain resources, and strive to continuously output core R&D capabilities and services in artificial intelligence as an important innovation carrier.
